Out for a light snack...

Took the new (to me) 30D out for a spin this afternoon and caught this Intermediate Egret catching a snack down at North Pine Dam.

Definitely noisier at ISO 400 than the 5DII, but still usable.

    Yep, second hand, but in good condition. Noticeably slower in operation than the 5DII, but it was a zero dollar changeover for me from the 400D, so it's all good :)
    Yeah it didn't do badly.

    Yeah a much nicer backup body than the 400D was, at least this one has a familiar interface with the rear wheel, etc.
