Due to recent weed clearage, we were able to get up to see it in full flow today. A handy break in the clouds provided some nice shadows from the palm trees.

Are you saying that you cleared the weeds, or someone else did it for you!

cool shot, where dose all the water go to , a dam or into another river ????
David de Groot said: I did it :-P Needs more, but it's passable now. Ultimately, it goes to Cedar Creek, but I'm not sure of the exact path it takes to get there.

Nice shot mate. This bout of rain has been relentless.
David de Groot said: That it has! Raining again here, but it's nowhere near as heavy as earlier.

Looks like you live in a pretty wonderful spot. I'm sure it will be running like that for the rest of the week by the look of this rain....
David de Groot said: I dare say so. The easter rains had our little creek running for several weeks. It's usually dry, so having it run well twice in quick succession is pretty special.

google earth... you should be able to make out where your creek starts, goes etc, well in theory anyway !
David de Groot said: Ah well the imagery is not high res enough for our patch just yet, and the creek disappears into the foliage somewhat.

Super cool shot Dave - I like the moss on the trees to the left and the shadow in the watercourse.

Seen on your photo stream. (?)
David de Groot said: So you're Lichen the tree trunk eh ? ;-) (couldn't help myself, just the sort of fun-gi I am). (See cabin fever setting in already) Very handy :) It's been somewhat damp out here today - bit much to be risking the kit in mostly.

Wow - that's a change from the tranquil creek long exposures I'm used to seeing on your stream. I guess all that rain had a tiny impact. For me the tree shadows across the water are the highlight of this shot. Nice one mate!
