We made the trek up the backyard through the weeds to check out our creek.
It's a seasonal creek and doesn't run for most of the year, but it's sure running well now.
Our creek eventually feeds into Cedar Creek.

Wow that's some backyard!
Beautiful shot David :-)
Nice work david. Did you use an ND filter?
man i would love to live were you r , it looks so lush... dose your house back onto the rainforest..?
lucky you to have that so close to you!
lovely
yes you r lucky. :)
Wicked mate, love this, how classic its in your yard!
Very nice David - I would have been trying to pull the dead leaves away from the pic - but that wouldn't be natural LOL.
I'm down in Katoomba now and must check out some of your Exif data before I seriously attempt to do any waterfall pics. Yours are always stunning!
One day I'm going to have to come and take some photos myself. This is a great shot!

I did pull some dead leaves away from another shot I took after this one ;-)
:))
I'd love to have this in my backyard... If I had a backyard... :p
Great image, David.
I love your garden/bush/backyard, you can keep your creepy crawlies though, all that backyard loveliness has got to be home to all manner of crawlies too ! Bugs are okay, its the spiders/snakes.... urgh !
We have seen a house we want to buy, okay its only half an acre, but it has a natural spring in the garden, heres hoping we get it, we have a 1/3 of an acre at the moment, nothing like your 8 or so !
The most we have had is an acre... but then this is the crowded UK after all, we tend to buy a garden that happens to have a house on it !!
We've only got 6 acres actually :P 1/2 acre wouldn't be a bad size residential block though.
I am confusing you with my uncle ! He has 8 acres of bush/yard in NSW,
1/2 an acre is very good for a residential plot here ! Lets hope we get it !
Beautiful David
Lovely shot David!
Oh fantastic David, one of your best creek shots. And just up the back too, incredible.
Love the title and love the shot Dave! Those whirlpools look swell!
P.S Looking at the other photos seems like a great time to PP some images getting flooded in like that!
