It looks exactly like my old school bell, which used to ring out at the end of Year 12 exams :)
I was quite surprised to see a bell on a poll instead of in the steeple (not that there was much of a steeple) and furthermore that it was an iron bell rather than brass.

I think it probably is minimalism as you have isolated the subject. Great shot of this old bell.
BTW I have some friends who geocache so know all about that too :-)

Thanks Jill - I wasn't entirely sure it was minimalist enough. :)
As for the geocaching, it's a fun little hobby and you get to see areas you might not have visited (or didn't know about).
I don't know if it's minimalism -- but I like it!
