Noisy Minor on a Flower
On the way back to the office these red flowers caught my eye, as I got closer I saw there was a Noisy Minor on it having a feed of nectar. I took many shots in different poses, but I think this one is probably the best one.

How far were you from the bird in this shot?
Thanks HB - I was probably only 2.5 metres away. I had the camera at full zoom (about 436mm in 35mm speak).

Yes Maria, they are indeed noisy. Not like a cockatoo, but just a fairly incessant chirping. Although having said that, this one wasn't making any noise, it was too busy posing and eating ;)
