Mount Funnel Sunset

Shot from Greenhill Beach, Greenhill, Qld.

Mount Funnel is an old volcanic plug that dominates the local hills near the coast in this area. It stands to a height of 344m above sea level and is part of the Cape Palmerston National Park.

    It turned out to be quite a good one. I had a hunch early in the day it would, but you know how fickle clouds can be. Luckily though, it all came together in the end :)

    Thanks Kath. 'twas interesting as when we got to the beach it looked like it was going to fizz. Then I looked south and saw colour and literally watched as the clouds progressively turned in front of me.
