Morning over Cedar Creek

This was the view from the bottom of my driveway on Wednesday morning as

I left for work. I was quite impressed by the cloud topped mountains and

the nice sunlit hillock down the road.

See where this picture was taken.

I'll agree with the other comments that this is a great view and a lovely place to live as well I should think. I also like the way the sun has lit up a small area, lovely !

David, that is my favourite lighting... the clouds and the sun lighting up something in the foreground. I love it. Nice job. Maybe try and have something like a couple of fence posts in the close foreground next time??

    Wonderful landscape shot

Thanks Alison, it was a photo of opportunity really. I had driven down our driveway and was presented with this view, there wasn't really any setup or intentional composition, just steadied myself and took the shot.

You live in a beautiful place!

    Thanks Norma and Mike.

This is probably as close as to an ancestral home I'm going to get. At least one side of my family has been living in the general area since the 1840s. (not on this particular bit of land, per sé but close enough).

    David,
That is special... And yes I know about looking and grabbing the camera! It works for me too! ;) Enjoy!
