Moonrise

Purposely overexposed moon to get the shimmer on the bay. It almost looked like the sun on the little lcd screen.

    Cloud on and off here tonight too - storms (several). Alas, nowhere reasonable to setup to take lighting shots without going out a fair way from home. Last night though was virtually cloud free (annoyingly so, a light whispy cloud would have been nice in the light painting shots).

    Quite right, but then I didn't notice the dates last night (very late when I made my comment on Norb's shot).

    And at a much more civilised time than sunrise ;-)

    I thought it was the sun the first time i looked at it. Then i thought that you would have had to have been on a boat off the coast to get the sun over the mainland. Came up very nice indeed

    Quite so :) And since I don't have ready access to a boat that'd go that far off shore, esp. at that time of the morning, this is as much like a sunrise over the bay I'm going to be getting for a while ;-)
