Maiala National Park - Picnic Area
Taken with the Wide-Angle lens, then stitched together with AutoStitch from three photos.
This is the picnic area I had in mind for the Oct. Brisbanites Picnic/Meet.

how do you like the new lens, always takes me awhile to really get the best out of a different lens. The other half has a great L lens, which I hardly ever use, its different..anyway when he gets his hands on my DO lens he is loathe to hand it back!
what would you take photos of here, you could set something up, kids playing skittles or such !
Still getting used to the new lens Helen, but it's definitely opened up a few possibilities :)
Well there was an idea of shooting a story, something acted out with a fair bit of melodrama so it'd carry well in still frames. But apart from that, there is a walk down to some falls through rainforest, children playing, down the road are views across Brisbane to the bay, lots of outdoor landscapey type things, but also the chance for some macro shooting.
sounds really good, should be something for everyone there !!
I loved the supermacro on the s2, it was excellent, I nearly kept the camera for that alone, I look forward to the piccies !
