Long-Billed Corella

A small flock if these guys were in a tree on the side of the road in Samford Downs, so I stopped and managed to get half a dozen shots off before they objected to my presence.

These birds are natively found in the area but are much less likely to be seen than the more common Sulphur-creasted Cockatoo.

They're definitely not too common, as I've not seen many about.
Impressive eh ? Wouldn't want to get bitten by one of these, that's for sure.

Nicely captured, great looking bird, and a bit unusual.

Die Gruppe scheint, privat zu sein. Ich kann nicht überprüfen, um zu sehen, welcher Sortierung der Gruppe, die sie und folglich ist, mein Bild nicht ihm hinzufügen wird. Danke.

Thanks :) Yes, somewhat different to the usual cockatoos we get around here.
