Logan's Inlet

Three exposure panorama, stitched with AutoStitch.

Where I'm standing, I should have been at least 4 or 5 metres under water.

3x18mm portrait orientation, polarizer, minor levels tweak in Lightroom, cropped slightly after stitching.

    JeeBus! I'd better stop bathing.

    Great set.

I'm not sure that'd help in the grand scheme of things ;-)

I, however, am completely off the Brisbane water grid (or any water grid actually, since we have no council supplied services beyond waste collection out here).

I feel so thirsty just by look at it. I think I'll be drinking a gallon of water looking at this. Where did all the water go?

Pretty much where you said... down people's throats. Well actually, used for washing, bathing, drinking, watering the gardens, industry, etc... The volume of water in the dam when full was meant to last Brisbane's projected growth 20 years... that was in 1985. Unsurprisingly, 22 years later it's getting dry...

I think you guys should do a rain dance soon. That's really scary to me.

I was just reading about the Dam stats and apparently Wivenhoe's average yearly rainfall is 940mm, but it loses 1872mm in evaporation per year... :( so there's where some of the water went!
