It's not a bad drop at all Margot :)
Although I somehow managed to go through St Pat's day without any Guinness!

No guinness on St Pats day? You could have coloured the leffe green!
I'll have to try some of that when I'm in Belgium later this year.
Hey - how did you link the photo to upcoming.org?

Well I did buy a dark beer at least ;)
Belgium is meant to be "the" place in Europe for beer, but be warned, a lot if it is not like any beer you would have had anywhere else - quite fruity.
As for the upcoming.org link. There's a greasemonkey script or you can manually tag it with: upcoming:event="id" where id is the event number in upcoming.org - this took a bit of trial and error to work out.

Yes, I tried one of the fruity ones at the multicultural festival in Canberra a few weeks ago - I couldn't stomach to drink the whole thing! I'll have to be careful. Give me VB :)
Will check out the link - ta.

Not tried that one before :-)

Ewww VB ! Give me a Coopers or a good English/Irish Ale.
It's not bad David. Malty while drinking it, but with a pronounced pear aftertaste.

I'll drink a Coopers with you then. One good thing about being in Canberra, there's no "local" beer as such, so you come across people drinking many different beers.
