Kirra Beach

Taken in Sept of 1999 just after I got back from my trip to the US. I'd just spent the last week or so in Texas so coming home to this was pretty special :)

Although it's relatively recent, this shot reminds me of beach photos taken in the '60s.

Yes I know the horizon is out, but straightening it would result chopping off the flag on the left and losing some of the pair of guys in the corner.

    Thanks Tracey. Nope, this is "as scanned". Mind you, the colours were pretty amazing on the day too.

    Now its a massive dust bowl, and you have to walk 10 minutes to get to the water. what a shame.
