Kara up close

Bit of a different style for this one, stood on a chair, got really close with the 17-40L @ 36mm.

Three light setup - two monoblocs into shoot-through umbrellas in Butterfly configuration, top at 1/2 power, bottom at 1/8th power, third monobloc snooted with barn doors rear and to right to act as a hair light, also at 1/8th power.

    This light configuration has potential but watch the highlight on the nose and the hard shadow under the left eye.

    Thanks Geoff. You are correct about the shadow, I think it's caused by the hair light at the rear. Obviously I needed to move that around a bit - d'oh!

    Beautiful tones on Kara's right cheek, but she looks a little flushed overall?
    Is she charging you modelling fees yet?

    I think the pink tones are because of the different lights, I'll replace it with a corrected version shortly as I've had a puddle with the whitebalance some more and managed a more realistic skin tone.
    As for fees - she get's a room and fed regularly ;-)
