Irronically your B&W treatment has obscured the warm colour of the dawn light.
As for "scowling", that's a word one doesn't commonly hear, but it gave me a chuckle. :-)
David de Groot said: I am aware of that. I may post the colour version too at some stage, but I like the b&w (slightly warmed b&w). However, regardless of colour, morning light has a certain quality to it - not as harsh as later in the day and I think that comes across adequately in this version.
As for scowling - you whipper snapper !

It'll be interesting to see the colour version, but I like the B&W.
David de Groot said: Thanks Mel, exactly what I was after - soft warmth :)
Patience... patience.

So sharp as well. I think some candid shots are the best! but a great shot love your work.
David de Groot said: Thanks Simon - loving the 100mm f/2.8 macro, it is indeed sharp and proves to be an excellent portrait lens :)

you are posting some great stuff at the moment. (not that your previous stuff wasn't good, but this latest work is way up there.) Like mentioned before the warmness to this B&W gives it a life of its own.
