Kara at the dinner table

Rediculously small depth of field at f/1.4 ;-)

Quick grab using the SB-26 in camera, bounced off the roof with the catchlight card extended.

Is this a new toy?? Or the one you hired? You are lucky Kara likes to get her photo taken.

Yeah, was itching to shoot something as since starting work on Wed, I'd not touched the camera at all.
Rental one. It's in excellent condition, and turned up in a Pelican case with foam inserts. I can heartily recommend rent-a-lens.com.au for lens rentals.
As for liking her photo taken, in general, she doesn't, but she'll put up with it.

Excellent portrait, amazing at f1.4, it turned out just right I thought.

Wow, that is a small DoF. Lovely neutral expression, quite nonchalant.

    Thanks, 'twasn't bad. :)
Darn small indeed, but not quite as small as the 85/1.2L (that thing is just ridiculous wide open).
    Not bad for on-camera lighting.

She does seem to have a 'just get on with it' expression ; )

Which incidentally, was exactly what she was thinking ;-) (I presume anyway)
