I have rather a lot of photos of grass and reeds, a lot of them backlit, not sure I have put any up yet though. I havent yet caught (to my satisfaction ) the light in them, neither did I think anyone else would be overly interested ! Now perhaps I will put one or two up. I am way behind with photos, neither do I think I will stay "pro" this year. The £ aint good at the moment !!

No currency is good at the moment, although I'm very surprised that the AuD is so crap, given out economy is in better shape than the US economy (relatively speaking).
Anyway, enough about dollars and pence...
Yeah I like a good grass shot, not overly pleased with this one, but it was there, so I shot it :P

I like grassy shots, haven't come up with the perfect one yet, but I'll keep trying.
    Thanks Voodoo :)
Yep, they look soft and fluffy, but the reality is these grass seeds have spikes and will stick to you.
As for those darned greedy wall st bankers.... even the new President over there has given them a bollocking.

Well yeah, I'm sure everyone's shot something "because it was there" before :P Wasn't that Hillary's excuse for climbing Everest ?
  • looby88 said:
I've taken loads of photos " just because ". I feel the same way about getting up when the mornings dark- " I might as well ". Dont feel the need to climb Everest though, or any other mountain for that matter.
I havent "come over that unnecessary "
I shall have to take photos of soft dreamy grasses, there was me trying to get them sharp !!
  • David de Groot said:
Oh but if you look, the stalk in the middle is sharp, it's just everything else that's soft ;-)

Wasn't dissing you - just thought it was funny that you offered an explanation for taking the pic!! :D This is Flickr and you are safe amongst photo addicts :P
    Was indeed Hillary's 'excuse' :P

No offence taken :) Well sometimes I feel the need to give a reason for a particular photo if I think it's not obvious.
