    Your next car, David? ;-)
  • David de Groot said:
Not quite perfect, but not bad either :)

hahaha no David. a) they're really expensive b) the parts are really expensive c) they're not really designed for Australian conditions.

This is the one I would rather have, not that I will be of course, this one could be a challenge to pan !!

hehehe If I were going for an outrageously expensive car, I think I'd learn towards an Aston Martin personally ;)

    Nicely done!
I wish people wouldn't borrow my other car without permission.... lol
  • David de Groot said:
hehehe And to drive it all the way to Brisbane too!

So you want the official James Bond car, huh, David? :o) Actually, I think it's a cool car, too.
  • David de Groot said:
Yep - any model would do - either the classic DB5 or one of the nice new sleek ones.

Aston Martins are soo unreliable, thats why I got rid of mine.....

    Oh the bare faced lies.......

hee hee, prefer a porsche myself

Yeah the best cat on the market by far!

Ah well if you can afford such cars, you can afford two, so when one is in the shop the other is still going ;-)

Porsche ? bah! A Spyker on the other hand.... www.spykercars.com/?pag=8
  • looby88 said:
bah to you too ! never heard of them, whilst of course nearly everyone has heard of porsche !!
0-60 km in 5 secs, not sure what that is in mph, we had an audi which would do 0-60 mph in 4.5 secs, that was rather fun, would probably end up losing my licence as its speed ( safety ! ) camera heaven over here !! I shall show my son, he's the car type in our house, my hubby works with them and is fairly indifferent !!
  • David de Groot said:
Having not heard of them is the whole point ;) Who wants a mundane Porsche when you can have a Dutch Spyker that next to noone has heard of let alone seen. ;-)
Oh course they're way way way too expensive, but being a limited run handbuilt car one kind of expects that.
60kph is about 35mph. But I was referring to the C8 Double 12 S model which does 0-100 (60mph) in 4.5 secs. Since it has an Audi engine it's no surprise the acceleration is similar.

I think the panning practise was pretty successful, David! Nice one!! The dappled shade form the trees works well too! Did you use a tripod?
  • David de Groot said:
Thanks Alison, no tripod involved, just followed the car with the camera hand-held and clicked. I did use the AI-Auto-AF mode to keep the camera focused at the right spot on the car though.
