This fearsome critter is made of old steel from various pieces of machinery and is an installation art piece on Kangaroo Point, along the cliff walk.
This is only a small portion of the entire fish skeleton piece.
See roughly where this picture was taken.

Wow, I missed this one. Do you know if it was done by the same person who does those roos up on George St?

Seen on your photo stream. (?)
This is a clever piece of art - I'd like to see that.
Nice shot, David!
Very well spotted -- a keen eye happening here.
I couldn't immediately see a plaque near it Steve, might have to return for another peek. It's just past the RiverLife place at Kangaroo Point, heading towards Southbank, before you get to the mangrove section.
I may upload the whole thing later David, it's a very large piece.
Hard to miss 'riddles, I stands about 1.8 m tall and is about 3 to 4 m long. I'll geotag it so it's easier to find :)
This is so cool. You saw and framed this shot very well.
Thanks Melissa :) Yeah it's a neat bit of art.
fabulous!
:) I'm baaaack!
Indeed you are! :)
There is one like this down the end of my street at oxley. The guy who makes them used to live around the corner as well.
I'll see if i can get down and get a shot of it after work tomorrow.
Wow, this is really interesting!
