Immature Butcher Bird

I had to stop on the way to work for some roadside car maintenance, and while waiting for the engine to cool sufficiently, I was greeted by a range of birds. Magpies, Corellas, Galahs, and this immature Butcher Bird perched on my Ute.

Well I pulled over at a park, and I suspect these birds see a fair few humans.

Yeah I didn't even know I got this one. Would have been perfect if I'd got the head in the frame too, oh well. 'twas still a suprise when I reviewed the shots.

A couple of good shots here. Like the headless one too - caught in exactly the right moment.

Thanks David :) Yeah he was fairly tame, or at least not afraid of me anyway.
