Did you get it and brought it home to Lea...I hope? :o)

Thanks Johnno - pays to "walk your turtle" while looking for photos.

A tad too large and heavy to bring home Margot - I'd guess it'd weigh at least 5kg, maybe more. It was about the size of a dinner plate. So I brought her home this photo instead :)

Margot: No, no, no - 'Leave nothing but footsteps, take nothing but photos" applies to our own backyard, too.

He brought me home a lovely photo and gave it to me with a smile :)

Nice David, well spotted! How sweet, nice to see you are a romantic! I'm sure Margot was very chuffed! :-D

    Not Margot, Tracey, Lea. :)

As for being a romantic, not really, I just get these little urges now and then.

(*snickers* quietly at the romantic boy)

Oh sorry Lea!!!! OH David you know what I mean lol....sorry, but I still think it was very sweet! :-D

    s'alright :)

(I can't even remember whoI am quoting with that - does anyone remember who does that deep throated "s'alright"? :))

Lea, that's a good motto and I already embedded in my brain. But, but, we can still pick up seashells at the seashore, right? Can we?
  • leadegroot said:
Margot, I think the ones of which there are thousands are ok as they are a bit of a renewable resource, but you should probably think twice about ones that something might be living in :)
  • Margot- said:
Okay, mental note to self: Don't bring home inhabited seashels. (o^^o)
  • David de Groot said:
A wise choice Margot, if only because after a few days the inhabitants usually start to smell really bad :P

    oh, how cute!

And it's still there too - I saw it again a few days ago. If you walk along the river walk from The Stamford Grande towards the mangroves on Garden's Point, it's in the very first bit of mangroves you come to, only visible at low tide.

    i found it, too! :-D
