Grey Teal

While out looking for a storm on Sunday arvo, I ended up in Gatton, and found an Apex Bird Sanctuary Lake. There were many nsting Cattle Egrets and Sacred Ibis, some cormorants, and the usual collection of Pacific Black Ducks, a couple of Black Swans, and a family of Geese, and a spattering of Purple Swamp Hens as well as these Teals.

    Hahaha when I saw the photograph I thought you had bought a new lens. You know how it's almost a requirement that you go out and shoot a duck just to check if your new lens works fine? :) Nice shot and I like that I can see light in the eye. Great duck shot
