When we got home from today's Brisbanites Flickr Meet, our resident Green Tree Frog was sitting on the stone cat doorstop outside the back door. I took this photo in near complete darkness (using a flash) before going inside.
As an aside, this the the 500th photo in my flickr stream!

Seen in my contacts' photos. (?)
certainly is green, love his little feet !
This is a nice ending to your Brisbanites Flickr Meet. :o)
Your camera produces some mighty flash.
500 well done mate
Thanks Jill - I love frogs, and this guy lives on our veranda! (makes an odd noise when the dogs get too close though)
Exceptionally sticky feet that they are Helen, these guys get their name from living in trees and as such can cling to vertical surfaces quite well indeed.
Thanks Margot, it was indeed :) And yes, the flash isn't bad for a built-in.
Thanks RH :) A small sample of the total number of shots I've taken on this camera though (now over 12,000 since August last year).
Fascinating creature. You captured it beautifully!!!
Thanks Ed, I rescue him from the dogs just about every night. Our little dogs are quite interested in anything that moves, and a frog on the veranda being sniffed at by a dog tends to move. But he gives off a loud warning noise and that's my cue to drag the dogs back inside.
How lovely! I'm jealous.... I'd LOVE a cute little green froggy friend like that on my verandah!! He is beautiful - great shot, David!
Thanks Alison :) Yes I'm quite pleased we have a resident green treefrog :)
oh dear god in heaven.........what a FREAKIN CUTIE PIE!!!!!!!!!!
We love our resident Green Tree Frog :)
Haven't seen him in a while, but then it hasn't rained in a while either.
well please be sure to snap more pics when you see him again! I love him!
I surely will, after all I don't think I've shot him with the new camera yet.
