Grandpa's 1961 Studebaker Lark VIII

This is a photo of a reproduction of a photo of Grandpa Rose's 1961 Studebaker Lark VIII. The original photo was taken during the Sunshine Coast Concourse at Gympie in June, 1983.

I came across this reproduction as part of a montage of shots from the same event that were being passed around at last night's Studebaker Car Club meeting.

    Quite so Steve. The visibility out the back in this car was phenomenal, nothing like a curved back windscreen to really give you a good view.

    That's a Cruiser, too, quite a rare car nowadays. I've got one just like it, only mine is "Tiara Gold", and of course, it's got the steering wheel on the left side.
