Lovely rural scene Dave.
Looks like a beautiful morning to be up and watch such a wonderful sun rise. I love this time of year when you have the cool mornings and as soon as the sun hits you can feel the warmth run through your body.
Cheers Adam

Very nice shot Dave.
It's like the fence us dividing 2 different worlds, including hhe sky
David de Groot said: It was the same morning as this sunrise and thus before and after was wet and dreary, but the sunrise itself was spectacular :) Indeed Ross - hope I get as nice a rise tomorrow. (heading out to the top end of Somerset if you're interested). It very much like that isn't it - hadn't fully dawned on me how well that fence works until now.

At first I was just appreciating the colour change across the sky, but Kath is right, the fence separating the two fields adds to the effect. Great composition.

Beautiful capture of the lone tree and lovely colours of the sky!
David de Groot said: Well spotted on Kath's behalf eh ? Thanks Cecily :) 'twas a good find on our scouting trip and the sky played nicely that morning.

Gorgeous mate. Beautiful subtle colours and love the composition!
David de Groot said: Thanks :) 'twas a good morning. Even included a lesson to some of the attendees on why ankle socks aren't really appropriate paddock wear (stinging nettles). ;-)

It looks fantastic! And I love the setting: on a paddock next to a fence... Reminds me of McLeod's Daughters TV series :-)

David de Groot said: You know, I've never seen that show - but then, I don't watch tellie either ;-) 'twas a magical morning - now after this morning, it's two from two! Sure is Simon, and there's some interesting 4wding to be had up there too.

Nice work Dave! I definitely remember seeing this tree on a sunset sky once when looking about last year! It certainly stands out.
We had 2 from 2 as well this weekend (kinda 3 from 3 too) - Fog with a Fogbow and the best sunrise I've personally seen all year!
David de Groot said: Yeah easy to find too.
Sounds like it was a worthwhile trip - I wait with baited breath to see the results :)
