Girraween Panorama

Panorama taken from half way up the first Pyramid at Girraween National Park, Queensland, Australia.

This park is in the middle of the Granite Belt, a stretch of land along the Queensland/NSW border that contains very large deposits of granite. The area is well known for wineries and stone fruit and in the past was a favourite haunt for various bushrangers.

The park contains some of the largest exposed granite monoliths in the world. This photo was taken from half-way up one of them.
