For dinner during the Saturday meet, I had a Steak and Guinness Pie, and a half pint of Guinness (I'd have had a full pint, but figured I'd be driving not too long after - I was wrong).
Half pints come in these little tiny glasses that look like the full pint glass, just in miniature. I'd not ordered a half in so long that I'd forgotten how small they looked.
Taken during Day #1 of the Xenedis Visit Brisbanites Flickr Meetup weekend.

That sounds great - I like Steak and Guinness Pie and I wouldn't mind a nice ice cold Guinness either!
Mmmmmmmmm, David... you're making me thirsty...
Very nice bokeh too...
It was indeed, although personally I think the pie was overpriced, and I've had better for less at the Dayboro Pub, still tasty though. Ah good to hear you're not one of those warm beer freaks we hear come from the English Isles... ;-)
You might be onto something there Gianluca, in fact it's making me thirsty now!
that is a lovely bit of bokeh there david...shame about the funny looking beer :-)
This be real beer Albert - not that funny yellow stuff so common around the place ;-)
The bokeh is indeed lovely, but I'd expect nothing less from a lens of this calibre (and price).
strangely enough there are some people who'd appreciate how many pints that lens would buy....but luckily they're not within earshot lol!!
Mmm...cold Guinness...can I have a sip? :o) I love the bokeh here, too.
I'm fairly sure even a staunch drinker would drink themselves to death with the amount of Guinness you could buy for that lens Albert.
Well if you ever come to Brissie Margot, I'll buy you one :) (guinness that is, not bokeh or lens)
Darn! I almost booked a flight for a free lens. (o^^o)
hehehehe Well the beer is good too :) Besides, the lens wouldn't fit on your camera :P
Bokeh!
Yep :)
This is a brew I haven't had in far too long.
mmmmmm....

Found in a search. (?)
Totally awesome half pint glass. Presumably far more satisfying to have a half pint that not only looks like a mini-pint, but makes you feel like a giant while you drink it!
