These four cows, after being a bit skittish when I approached to take shots of their cattle egrets, later congregated like this to keep and eye on me.
There were two more off to the left, one licking it's rump in an obvious distractionary move, presumably they were hoping I'd take my eyes off them so they four of them could rush me... I however escaped this suspicious posse!

hehehehe lovely!! you never can be too careful!!
Darn right Alison... I think they were up to something!
LOL - definately a shady-looking bunch. Bovine delinquents.
At least they didn't have guns! ;-)
Hahaha! Good thing you got out of there real quick. I believe this is the attack formation.
Just as well indeed Margot! ;-)
LOL how funny! :D It is a fun shot of cows, David...
Have you seen the pool called "celebrate the cow"? It's fun too...
I have indeed Alison, cows are quite fun animals when seen up close.
the second from the left is actually a red crate in disguise.
they're everywhere!!!
Now that's funny! Thanks Greg! :)
Helen (for when you eventually drop by), you were right! They are mutating!
Be afraid, be very afraid. You're fortunate to have recorded & survived the encounter. They look devious, don't they?!
Thanks Karen - very devious indeed!
LOL ::--) Thats a BIG grin Dave, please don't try and milk those cows mate , they are steers lol. Skittish Droughtmasters. (not Scottish)
A photo worthy of any rural breeder.
