Foggs Rd Sunset

I went out to shoot some roadside type shots this arvo for a job I'm interested in and was greeted by this beam of sunlight just as the sun sank behind the mountians.

Much more impressive in person, but not a bad piccie all the same ;-)

    Yeah the powerlines do suck somewhat, and there's too many to clone out. Part and parcel with living in the country - power still goes over-ground.

    Beautiful photo...oh how I miss Samford (sort of....I do prefer not having to drive 45minutes to get to the city). Damn those powerlines...at least the developers haven't taken this part over (yet)

    Thanks Ronnie. Yeah the powerlines are noticeable now that they've been pointed out, but I didn't notice them quite as prominently when I was processing the shot.

    hehe yeah it's a drive of 45min + to just about anywhere from here (well ok, the village is only 10 mins away).

    Still more impressive in person though. On the main road I went around a sweeping bend and was confronted by the beam of light across the whole valley, but there was nowhere to stop.
