Children in our town are required to carry small bells with them to & from school because of the wild black bears suddenly showing up anywhere..ha!?!
Small bells would be useless for me, so I need to carry that type when I go to the woods to take photos. Or should I carry a gun? :-p

Wonderful contrast with the reddish background!

Really Maria ? Wild black bears are that much of a problem ? I'm not sure you'd want to lug this bell around, it'd be 2kg of solid brass at least (possibly 5kg)

...interesting that it has a dragon on it!

I thought so too Alison. Guess I should have read the sign next to it in case it mentioned why. I'm terrible for that though.

We've got a similar one outside the back door, if I can find some working scales I'll weigh it :)

Wow, this one made me do a double-take! Such beautiful colours and contasts, and the composition is just the sort of thing I like. Nicely spotted!

Does the 350d use PictureStyles ? If so, try the Clear style at www.canon.co.jp/Imaging/picturestyle/file/index.html

Canon's Digital Photo Professional software will also use them, so shoot in raw and give it a whirl :)
