Fire and Stars

Fire on Mt O'Reilly, Cedar Creek.

8 shot stitched panorama (two rows of 4).

The fire is now officially under control, but still looks impressive over a 15 sec exposure.

For the locals, we have a facebook page if you need to post information.

Shes a fair size aswell david.I wondered where the smoke was coming from this evening when going up the minden range west bound.
Great shot and super exposure ;)

The glow in the smoke makes it look bigger than it currently is, but it's still nothing to sneeze at.
Yeah I saw the smoke from Bardon on the way home. It's probably burned out 20ha so far, but they reckon it's under control and will burn itself out overnight.

Wow nicely done David loving the contrast of night sky and fire, did you see the one up at Mt Mee a few weeks back quite a major burn
