F-111 fly over for RiverFire 2006

The Brisbane Riverfire F-111 flyby as seen from the base of Mt Coot-tha.

These two glowing streaks were a pair of F-111G Fighter/Bombers doing a dump and burn along the river through town. As you can see, one of them is at about building height, while the other a little higher.

This series of photos was taken on a tripod in the back of my Ute, which unfortunately was full of children, so quite a few suffered from a little motion blur.

    Next year I hope to be able to get closer, and maybe have a couple of cameras, one shooting wide, one fast.
