Just down the road from the Hydro Majestic at Medlow Bath, there's a turnoff to Evan's Lookout.
A couple of kms down the road you come across a spot to park your car, and a short walk to a large platform overlooking this amazing scene.
Orange sandstone cliffs stand out starkly against the blue sky and green foliage below.
It truly is an amazing sight that needs to be seen in person.
This stitched panorama consists of 20 photographs comprising an angle of view of about 150º horizontally by 60º vertically.

Very nice shot!
Wow what wonderful formations
Wow that looks like a great spot!

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/smreid] [http://www.flickr.com/photos/teejaybee] The photo does it not justice at all as the main drawcard is the vastness. You stand there on the edge of a massive canyon and can't help but wonder at how long it took the river to form it. Definitely an afternoon visit though, as you want the sun on those rich orange cliffs.
I think I have one from that spot too. Amazing place, and great shot.
What a wonderful landscape and magnificent stitch work.
wow this is epic....looks like the blue mountains!!! very good
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/jameslagden] Sure is James. Everyone goes to see the Three Sisters, but in my opinion this is much more impressive in person.
