This was a tricky shot. I was perched on top of a boulder, holding a diffuser with my left hand, leaning out to do so, while shooting with my right hand (trying to keep 2.5kg of camera kit steady).

Jeez, that lens and 5D combo is very sharp! Nice work Dave!
noice .. very nice
you did very well, especially with the balancing act !
Sounds like a tricky shot great result tho really sharp details but also some nice DOF.
Done well here, especially to keep focus in those conditions at f2
Great Shot Dave. That Lens at f2 seems to have a decent DOF range. I'd be interested in your strobist info for this shot.
congrats on the shot mate.. I'm glad you didn't fall over!!
plus look at the pure goodness of the 85mm f1/2... WOWWWW! So creamy... so yummy....
You've been doing a bit of model work lately mate.. Where abouts are you doing this? Through a club or something else?
Some of the model work is organised via the flickr strobist community, some at the BCG (Brisbane Camera Group) portrait days (I'm not a member, but sometimes toodle along), and this one was through the Australian Photography forum.
