Eilean Donan Castle at Night

I ducked out between entrée and mains to shoot this as the blue hour conditions were just right. I was glad I did as this was the image I had envisaged when planning the trip.

Well worth the half cold mains, to duck out and get this one! The warm tonesof the castle really makes it stands out against the cold colors of the rest of the image.

Nice one. Don't you hate all the scaffolding on the castles? :)

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/danishpm] Thanks, amazingly, the mains were still hot when I returned :)
    [http://www.flickr.com/photos/teejaybee] Sure is :)
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/42495072@N00] It's what you have to do sometimes ;-)
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/32491696@N00] Yeah, could have done without the scaffolding, but then, if it means the castle will be there for years to come, I can live with that.

    Well realised plan.
I know what you mean about the blue hour.
    Must be the high latitude...
  • David de Groot said:
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/apurdam] Indeed, it didn't seem to last long. Soon became too dark to get decent blues so back to dinner I went.
