Sunning himself at Wilson's Outlook. I shot this not long after arriving to wait for the fireworks that were scheduled for 9 hours later.

There are a lot of Water Dragons at that place. Nice photo. I love the look in his eye as he 'eyes' you LOL

Cool - will be great once these start getting their breeding colours :)

Yeah given he didn't really have anywhere to go (cliff edge in front and beside him, me (inside the fence) in the other direction), I'm sure he wasn't entirely impressed.
Indeed - can't be too much longer either, given that it's starting to warm up.

He was quite the poser too - came back later in the day and posed for everyone with a can of bourbon and coke.

Great shot, we don't get them here like that (we don't get them here at all)

:D Who'd of thought a water dragon would turn out to be a poser?!
  • David de Groot said:
That's true, they're restricted to the Eastern states. However, you should see Blue Tongues, Central Bearded Dragons and various other lizards out that way.

I know! I'm now wondering (after the bourbon and coke fiasco) whether the needle exchange bin in the park was actually for the local water dragon population.... ;-)

LOL...water dragons on drugs, watching fireworks go off, from their perch at the top of a cliff!!! Interesting !!!
