Eastern Water Dragon

An Eastern Water Dragon (Physignathus lesueurii) of some description hanging about near the duck pond in the Brisbane Botanic Gardens.

There were two of these lounging about, this one, and a far less active one about 5 metres away with his tail in the water.

I took many shots of these lizards, but like this one the best.
