Very beautiful David. I really like the DOF you have obtained in this.

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/ianrmc] Thanks! (hellish crop, but still works).
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/geoffsta] Narrow DoF is fairly unavoidable with these guys. Long lens, close focus distance, but a need for reasonable shutter speeds.

Are there many birds up at that cafe, David?? We've only stopped at the Mt Nebo cafe (can't remember it's name) where King Parrots and Sulphur Crested Cockatoos abound. I think we need to venture further!

Sure are! Saw Regents and Satin bowerbirds, Catbirds, Eastern Yellow Robins, Grey and Rufous Fantails, Eastern Spinebills, Paradise Riflebird, Brown Cuckoo-doves, White-headed Pigeons, Wompoo Fruit-Dove, Red-browed Finches, a New England Honeyeater, Brown Thornbills and a Golden Whistler, and that was just the last visit.
Nicely captured image David.
