And here is Duckie's dilemma from further back

  • David de Groot said:
Ah I see my plan of wearing a white shirt to make it difficult to photograph me, didn't quite work ;-)

If you had have been one step back, the shot wouldnt have come out. Besides, i had to get a shot of someone taking a shot. Its obligatory at flickr meets isnt it?
  • David de Groot said:
Yes, that's true it is, and I only got one of Louise, which isn't fit for publishing.

Oh, duckie looks to be in trouble! I was wondering what had happened to the little guy - he's been camera shy of late : )
  • David de Groot said:
Yeah he's been buried deep in my camera bag for quite some time, 'twas about time I pulled him out for some sunlight. Seems he was hungry and tried to catch a fish, but the fish was bigger.
  • -spam- said:
Well when you starve him for so long, of course he is going to go for the biggest fish he can find.
  • David de Groot said:
Hmmm, you might be onto something there Sam. Maybe he needs to come out to feed more often.
  • -spam- said:
Well look how he ended up nearly drowning in that beer glass a while back, poor thing was so thirsty he had no choice but to jump in.

I love the shot, and was just about to be rooly dumb and ask where the fishie thing is when I saw that link to the webwidget. It is kewl. I'm busy doing that assignment still, so haven't had time to explore it all.

Is it just your set that has been loc.alized David, or do we have one for the meetup group?
  • David de Groot said:
I manually geo-tag my photos when I remember Pam. I think, but haven't tried, that you can feed the web page a flickr group and it'll map the geotagged photos in the pool.

    lol :)
    Lucky Duckie really gets around!
  • David de Groot said:
Gets around more than he realises... I only let him out of the bag every now and then.

Haha! Funny picture! Duckie wouldn't taste very good--too rubbery.
  • David de Groot said:
He got spat out not long after this, none the worse for wear. Apparently even prehistoric metal fish seem to think rubber ducks are too chewy ;-)

Oh, no! What to do? What to do? Hold on, Duckie, I'm still thinking. (o^^o)
