I got to work this morning to find an envelope from the USA, and inside was Duck #1102 - henceforth to be known as Duckie (like so many other Duck Project Ducks).
Duckie is in fine health and has already posed for a couple of photos (this one included).
See where this picture was taken.

Cool!
Now do some work :-P
Oh but I have. I'm currently waiting for a customer to sort out his end of the connection.
Look how new and pretty Duckie looks! He's just glowing! Quack!
That's too cute. I might have a yellow duckie in storage...what is the duck project??
My! You have a most awesome rubber duck collection Colleen! Yep, he's all new and shiny and ready for an adventure!
That he is Melissa. I have another little duck in a box somewhere, but haven't been able to find him yet. The Duck Project is a project to photograph numbered ducks in all the major cities of the world, in an artisitic way. See The Duck Project group, and when it's up www.duckproject.com ('twas down for me this morning).
Aww...that's too cute, David! The Duck Project sounds like fun. Can't wait to see more photos.
whoot! louise and her girls have one and i have one - perhaps all three can get together at the next brisbane meet-up. my ducky (with a "y") has been in detox for several months after his last meet-up. i think he is ready for another excursion.
agamid has a variant duck - a mutant giant. that is what drovve ducky to drink...
duckie looks very excited about his big Brisbane adventure to me!
You work in Waterfront Place? That's where the Brisbane office of the law firm I work in is.
Congratulations David.
Yes, I think we need to get these ducks together for drinks.
mad !! waiting to see what you come up with should be interesting.....
Thanks Margot - should be interesting at least :)
Hmmm, should I be worried your Ducky will be a bad influence Greg ? ;)
And so he might be Jean, we'll just have to see what mischief he gets up to!
Sure do Mike, although somewhat lower down the building at level 13.
Well he now lives in my camera bag Louise so I dare say he'll be along at the next meet.
I spent the train trip home considering different Duckie photo-adventures Helen (well the parts of the trip I was awake for).
it's not so much ducky yu have to worry about dave - it's his disreputable friends -
Ah yes Spongebob - can soak up a beer like a sponge, and show no noticeable side effects!
hah! so cute!!!
Sure is Maria :)
Disreputable friends....
I have some too.
Don't forget your duck on Saturday.
Gumby! Hmmm, if I don't take the camera bag I'm going to have to make a concerted effort to remember Duckie ! Thanks for the reminder.
