Dinner!

When I let the dogs out this evening I glanced up at the veranda roof to see this small spider catching a beetle of some sort. The beetle was still struggling, but it was obvious it was not long for this world.

    I'll tell you what though, it's quite difficult to do this looking up at the ceiling, camera in one hand, flash in the other off to the side, all the while hoping the flashes don't startle the spider and make it fall on you. ;-)

    I don't mind spiders, great to take photos of, but wouldn't want to put myself in a position where I could end up wearing it :D
