    Unfortunately the same cant be said for SA, especially along the Murray River.
    Where we go water skiing the river the water is an extra ~5m down the bank

    wow thats great....you can appreciate what the rain has done now....they need to show these pictures on the news (or maybe they do but I'm always watching something else instead). Even the concrete road looks healthier after the rain :)

    I wouldn't know about the news, as I don't watch it. There's an argument that one shouldn't show the general public this sort of thing, lest they get silly with water usage, although that's probably unlikely.

    So I heard - would have been good to get some of your rain over Wivenhoe - she'd be right for another 10 years after that :)

    Especially considering it was really about 4 weeks of rain as it didn't really rain for most of those 8 months.
