Customs House

Not the best spot to take this shot as there wasn't enough room for the water reflections while still avoiding the mundane buildings next to Old Customs House.

Taken on the way home from Brisbanites Feb 2007 "Flickr Birthday" Meet at the Riverside CityCat Terminal.

Just scraped into Explore - #494 for the 10th Feb.

You're too kind Mark. I'd personally rate it as a bit better than ok. But given where I was and the hour, it wasn't too bad.

Thanks pmarella. :) I could do better if I was setting out to shoot this again.

Oh neat Cecily :) Much appreciated!

Thanks Richard, yeah one can't help but include the lovely reflections off the Brisbane River. The river is what makes this town :)

well, you'll just have to go out there and photograph this place 'properly'!! ;) Seeing as how great this one turned out.... imagine how popular your future ones will be!! Different vantage points may be interesting to experiment with... especially if they allow you to include more watery reflections! :) This one is LOVELY! Nicely composed and there IS enough water in the frame for us to enjoy the lovely reflections.

Looks like I've been outvoted ;-)

I'll be in town on Saturday evening but a different spot, although I'll probably park for free and walk over there, which means going along the river again. So I might get a chance to try a few more vantage points :)
