Nicely done. Perfect sky, and nice blues and greens.
The image, despite being taken in yucky light, works well considering, and its simplicity is effective.

Nice landscape shot David, the birds are obviously not walking on the track.
David de Groot said: Yep, some images only work in "yucky" light. This would be completely different at dawn/dusk/twilight. Nope, they aren't indeed - although Wes has now found and marked both.

David de Groot said: Probably why we have a large ex-pat Brit population around these parts ;-)

1 out of 2 aint bad! An Australasian Figbird, I had never even heard of it until now. You learn something everyday.

Great landscape Dave, this is close to your place? so many nice areas around you.
David de Groot said: Yep, not bad spotting at all :)
I initially thought the second bird was an Australian Dollarbird, but I have a closer shot and it appears not to be - the tell-tale red eye patch and olive wings clearly mark it as a Figbird. Thanks :) Sure is Kane, same spot as here, just from the other direction.

David de Groot said: Aye, but the punchy version wouldn't have been accepted methinks. Hey! :) Yeah, I do have more Girraween photos, just haven't got around to posting them.
