  Yep, some images only work in "yucky" light. This would be completely different at dawn/dusk/twilight.

  I initially thought the second bird was an Australian Dollarbird, but I have a closer shot and it appears not to be - the tell-tale red eye patch and olive wings clearly mark it as a Figbird.
