Clouds over Ferny Grove Station

Just testing my new Wide-Angle lens, and these clouds looked interesting.

Taken this morning while I was waiting for the train.

it's a good angle for the station.

Thanks Brian. I was doing this handheld, thus the slightly non-level angle and the blow-out on the white parts of the cloud (should have used a smaller aperature - still getting used to the new lens).

Nice shot - that converer looks pretty nifty - I don't notice much distortion.
Will be interesting to see what it does with buildings.

I'm fairly impressed really. I chose this one because of the very low distortion on full wide. It suffers some pretty severe softness at full telephoto, but then that's not what it's meant for.

Did you pick it based on the infos and comparisons on the lensmate website ? Pretty good site they have, I think, and very good service.

Based solely on the Lensmate comparison. Excellent service actually, took only 4 days to get to me from the US. And, cheaper than buying a Canon (and wider too) locally.
