
The last shot of the day and proof that the kit lens isn't entirely rubbish.
I shot this specifically with the kit lens to see if it could redeem it's reputation with the aid of some lighting, and it would seem it can.
Pretty much just added a vignette here and a titch more contrast, otherwise it's as-is.
Strobist: Nikon SB-600 camera left, rear onto the background @ 1/32nd (24mm). Nikon SB-26 camera left zoomed to 85mm at Christiana's head @ 1/8th. Vivitar 285HV zoomed to 105mm also aimed at Christiana's head from Camera right on high @ 1/16th.

By this stage in the evening, it was quite dark and I was waning (creatively) too. This is pretty much the only decent shot of Christiana I got.
