I was getting 5 to 6 seconds at f/11 with a polarizer, but thought I'd try f/22 just for the hell of it. A bit of light sharpening in Lightroom made any diffraction issues fairly unnoticeable. But yeah, heavy tree cover and very dark overcast sky (for the time of day anyway - still too bright to shoot out in the open).
