Catching some Rays

The sun sank into this cloud and provided some lovely rays. This is one of many shots taken, some lighter, some darker, some zoomed out, some in, but the added bird in this one sealed it's fate as a flickr photo.

Taken during the 30th Sept Brisbanites Flickr meet at Kangaroo Point Cliffs.

The clouds were just in the right place - begging to be photographed. I took quite a few shots with different settings trying to see what came out best. Some of the others were too light, losing the lovely colouring, some I zoomed out wide for, others were too dark, losing definition in the cloud. This one turned out fairly ok :)
