Carving aboard the HMB Endeavour

There are two such carvings near the windlass used to haul the anchors.

I'm not sure of the significance of the carvings, as both are identical and appear to be standard seamen (based on the hat - not pictured here). They both look aft over the length of the ship, which may be significant.

    Yep, it's currently at Hamilton Berth #2 until Tuesday. Open until 4pm for tours.

    $15 for adults, $8 for children, although if you go as a family it's $30 for two adults and up to four children.
