Canon Photo5 Entries

Well these are my not too fantastic Canon Photo5 Entries.

I had some better ideas for some, but couldn't pull them off with the resources at hand.

The Cellophane and Dots though turned out ok, and ironically were done in the 11th hour.

Just had a look at the Photo5 website. It's a great idea for a comp and I was impressed at the creativity of the entries. Wish the Canon UK would do something similar.

Love your Lego entry and the ship on cellophane sea is clever. Best of luck!

Indeed! But then a chance to win a 40D is worth it eh ?

Ah well I hold no illusions as to actually being in the running or anything as there were some really creative and well executed shots on the competition gallery.

One can hope, but I'll not be holding my breath waiting.

Very nice entries David. I was all out of ideas until yesterday afternoon. Got it all set up and found that both of my camera batteries were dead. Ah well...

    Good luck with yours :D

I reckon so John, you've got some good entries, so here's hoping eh ?

Bummer Sam :( I try to keep at least one of my batteries charged at all times.

I thought the spare was charged. Although, getting over 1000 shots out of a battery does take a while and i guess i forgot haha.

Hmmm... now with the grip im looking at over 2000 between charges...

Cool and good luck! I wish Nikon Japan would do something similar, too.

Yeah it does get a bit like that...

I dunno Margot, it was really hard coming up with something to do with these that fit my available means and methods.

Alas, none were up to scratch for the comp. Not that I'm particularly surprised actually.

thats poo-ey !! or is it poohey, time I was tucked up in bed !!

Oh well, there were some very creative shots up there. Mind you, I'm surprised about some that were chosen in the finalists.

its like dogshows- sometimes the judges go off the face of the owner-( especially if they are buddies )more than they do the dog !!....

I do wonder myself sometimes what they are looking for, or what they have seen that I haven't !!

No sour grapes from me, my shots really weren't up to scratch and I know it, but I had to shove something in just in case ;-)
